2005 Michel Niellon – An exuberant, highly expressive nose of ripe peach and frankly exotic aromas framed by generous amounts of new oak notes introduce big, indeed massive and exceptionally powerful full-bodied flavors that are unctuous, textured and explosively long. This won’t go down as the most elegant Batard that Niellon has ever fashioned but the length here is flat out amazing and it may very well surprise in terms of its cellar potential.
