1997 Cos d’Estournel – Wine Spectator – Jan 31, 2000: Serious concentration of fruit in this wine, with plenty of chocolate and berry character and a hint of dried herbs on the nose. Full- to medium-bodied, with plenty of fruit and a velvety texture. Best from 2001 through 2006. JS
