The 1995 possesses a saturated dark ruby/purple color, an earthy, subtly-oaked, black-cherry-scented nose, and concentrated, stylish, medium-bodied flavors that exhibit fine intensity and length. This is always a measured, restrained style of wine offering plenty of complexity and intensity. Although not the most obvious style of St.-Emilion, it is well-made, and, in the case of the 1995, capable of lasting 20+ years. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2020.
