The wine that stood out in this flight was the finest bottle of 1961 Cheval Blanc I have ever had. A perfect wine, it was totally perfumed, unctuously-textured, and full-bodied, with exquisite sweet fruit, richness, and depth. This magnificent example far eclipsed any other bottle I have ever had. This prodigious wine was one of the highlights of the day.
