Tramin Winery: Wine Route 144, 39040 Tramin (BZ), IT
The Unterebner Pinot Grigio 2023 from Cantina Tramin shines in a radiant golden yellow. On the nose, it reveals refined aromas of ripe pear, hay, and subtle toasted notes reminiscent of buttered toast, accented by hints of tobacco, vanilla, and incense. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with a harmonious balance of alpine freshness and juicy minerality, leading to a long, characterful finish. This exceptional Pinot Grigio comes from vineyards located at 400 to 600 meters above sea level in South Tyrol, rooted in calcareous soils with clay and porphyry sublayers. The vines, aged between 10 and 30 years, thrive in a unique microclimate.
