The Ribolla Gialla DOC Colli Orientali 2023 from Torre Rosazza is a fresh, lively white wine made from the autochthonous Ribolla Gialla grape variety. This grape is one of the oldest and most characteristic grape varieties in the Friuli region and finds optimal growing conditions in the Colli di Rosazzo, an area known for its high-quality wines.

In the glass, the wine is medium straw yellow. Its bouquet develops clear and floral aromas, which are characterized by melon and light citrus notes, in particular blood orange. On the palate, it is slim, very fresh and tasty, with the characteristic orange note, which is also noticeable on the nose.

An interesting fact for wine lovers: The soil on which the vines grow consists of “ponca”, a sedimentary formation of clayey marl and sandstone. These soils have low fertility but good water-holding capacity, which gives grapes and wine unique characteristics such as body, color, tannins and minerality.
